Talent marketplace: An innovative approach to matching talent, skills and key enterprise projects at Thomson Reuters.

Employee engagement surveys tell us that employees are interested in broadening their experiences but have difficulty finding valuable enterprise projects. We know it is vital to provide developmental experiences and projects to employees, allowing them to grow and develop. Thomson Reuters has created a platform to make it easier for employees and managers to access those stretch opportunities and projects by launching the pilot of an enterprise talent initiative, Talent Marketplace, designed to place some of our best talent on our key enterprise projects.

Employees are able to work on short, part-time projects in addition to their core role, providing them with interesting and challenging experiences that will help them develop and broaden their network. We also benefit as a company by being able to resource our most important projects and share our expertise in a way we haven’t been able to before. Join this discussion to find out more about this innovative talent initiative and how Thomson Reuters are seeing the real business impact from it.
